If you have any questions about the toolkit and its applications, please contact us at [email protected].
There is no ticket system and no autoresponder. Your messages will be read by the person who built the toolkit.

Reporting a problem

Let us know if one of the apps misbehaves. Here is what helps and how to simplify the process:

Clausage

Clausage has a built-in helper in Settings → About → Report a problem.
If the app has crashed recently, the panel will highlight that and give two buttons:

  • Copy Details: puts a complete, prefilled report (address, subject, version facts, and which file to attach) on your clipboard as plain text. Paste it into any mail client or webmail you use.
  • Show Reports: opens Finder with the newest crash report selected, ready to drag into the email.

Paste the details, attach the crash report, hit send, and you are done.
We will take care of the rest.

About crash reports

These are created by macOS every time an app stops working unexpectedly. For Clausage, your system puts them into:

~/Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports

Each report is a Clausage-<date>.ips file, which you can open in TextEdit and read before sending it to us. It contains the crash stack trace, a list of the software loaded on your Mac at the time, and timestamps. It is never sent to us automatically.

Clauswitch

If you are experiencing any issues, email us about them and we will look into it. Include info about the issues themselves (the more detail the better), what the behavior is versus what you think it should be, and what version of Clauswitch and VS Code you are running, on what OS.

You may also include any output Clauswitch produces.
In VS Code, open View → Output, pick Clauswitch in the dropdown on the right side of the panel, and paste what you see there into the email.
