Simple setup

No new accounts to create, no API keys to paste and no session cookies to fish out of a browser.

Clausage detects the Claude accounts present on your Mac automatically. Each of your active Claude Code accounts will show up, and so will any new accounts you add in the future. Then you just choose which ones Clausage should track and how. In any case, no usage numbers, names or identities of your accounts ever leave your machine.

Not an active Claude Code user? You don't have to become one. You just need to sign in once and Clausage starts tracking that account, and that's the whole of it.

Running several Claude accounts already? Read our guide on how to best organize your multi-account Claude setup to get the best out of your subscriptions and start tracking them.

Stay on top of things

Pick which accounts get a slot in your menu bar and their order. Clausage can display their usage as exact percentage numbers or as elegant progress bars. Show the session window on its own, or session and weekly side by side.

Get notified when your usage crosses a threshold, hits a limit or when it resets. All of these notifications can be switched on and off individually, so pick what matters to you.

Track more with Pro

Everything above is free, for two accounts, permanently. Pro removes the account cap and adds more detail and more control.

Every account instead of two

No cap on accounts tracked

Free tracks two accounts at once. Pro covers them all for you, each with its own usage windows, reset clocks, history and other Pro features listed below.

Usage credits tracking

Watch your current spend and the limits you have set. Get notified once you cross into usage credits territory.

Projections

↗ Weekly on pace for ~95% by reset

Track your pace and learn where a window will land by the time it resets, or if and when you are likely to hit the limit.

Where usage numbers come from

Clausage always reads what Claude Code has already cached on your Mac first. Only when there is nothing fresh to read does it request your usage data from the same endpoint Claude Code uses, with the token Claude Code already stores. Neither that cache nor that endpoint is ours, so we say up front what happens if Anthropic decides to remove either in the future. Read the Cutoff Clause.

Usage request frequency is designed to be gentle and stay flat even with an increasing number of accounts you track, so the usage refreshes less often per account as you add more of them. The FAQ has the details. If you run both apps from the Schizm toolkit at the same time, they share what they fetch in order to keep the total number of requests low.

Your data stays on your Mac

All your usage data, and everything Clausage knows about your accounts, stays on your machine, and none of it is sent to us or anywhere else. The diagnostics and analytics the app sends exist so that we can keep improving it, and it is purely up to you whether you leave this kind of reporting enabled. The switches are in Settings, under Privacy.
